Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about the Titan Chains Twist Link snow tire chains on the 2023 Toyota Highlander. We're gonna have them on our 235 65 R18 tires and it's gonna be situated on our front axle as per the owner's guide. Always make sure you check yours as well. One thing I would like to note is that the Highlander does have a lot of limited wheel well clearance, but I think these chains can be very nice if you do find yourself in areas with a lot of snow and maybe ice. In the manual it doesn't say it needs to have S class chains and honestly these are probably gonna be one of your better options if you do have a lot of snow in the area, you need something with a little bit more bite than your smaller chains. more

Hi, Matt with etrailer and today we're gonna be talking about the Titan Chain's twist link snow tire chain with cams on the 2023 Toyota Highlander. We're gonna have these on our 235/65 R18 tires. And per the owner's manual we're gonna have 'em on the front axle. Now I'd always recommend checking what your owner's manual says as well. These chains are gonna be a good fit for the Highlander because they're a lot more low profile than a lot of the other chains we've done today since they are a twist links and they're a little bit lower profile, which means with our Highlander that has its limited wheel well clearance, we're still gonna have a decent amount of space back here. Taking a closer look at our twist links you can kind of see how they twist into one another and that's just gonna help you get more bite into the snow and some ice. more

These are gonna be a great set of chains if you're just looking for something that's gonna be really easy and quick to install, and all you really need to do is press down on your foot to get it on there. What's also nice is you really don't even have to get on the ground to put 'em on there, You can pretty much put 'em on entirely from the kneeling position. A nice feature about these chains is that they're low profile, so they do meet class standards. more

Adam: Hi everyone. Adam with etrailer.com today we're going to be taking a look at some glacier cable snow tire chains on our 2019 Toyota Highlander. These chains are going to be a ladder pattern style so we're going to have little gaps in between our chains here so it won't be necessarily the smoothest ride, but to be honest with these rollers, it will be relatively smoother compared to some of your D link or square shape links.Also, everything's going to be made of steel and these rollers are also going to have a case hardened steel as well, so it is going to be better for your lighter snow. It's not going to be as aggressive as some of those V-Bar styles or even just the bigger, more hardy chains that you could buy. Just because I do think these are going to be a better bet just because they are SAE S class certified. They're pretty low profile. more

Titan Chain Diamond Alloy Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2019 Toyota Highlander- Video
Adam: Hi everyone Adam with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Titan chain alloy snow tire chains on our 2019 Toyota Highlander. So we are going to get some square links here, they are going to be pretty symmetrical and all the same sizes all the way throughout so they are going to wear away relatively evenly. Also they are made of a high quality manganese, nickel alloy steel so it is going to resist against that rust and corrosion over time and maybe some of that salt that you'll see obviously when there's snow on the ground. We will have a diamond pattern and we will have cross chains as well. So we're going to get this nice diamond pattern so it's going to be a little bit smoother of a ride than some of your ladder pattern style chains and then these cross chains are going to make it pretty nice just to turn and make all of those different maneuvers whenever it's slick on the road.Other than that I would say these are a little bit less aggressive than some of the V bar style or the more high heavy duty ladder pattern chains but they still are going to give you more traction in the snow it just will be a little bit smoother. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Toyota Highlander we're going to be test fitting the Glacier V-Bar Snow Tire Chains, part number PWH2829SC. The Glacier V-Bar Tire Chains come in a pack of two, so that way you can put it on your appropriate drive wheel, in this case the front wheel drive. These are particularly good in heavy snow and icy conditions versus the roller bars because of the V design here. This will give you excellent traction. Today on our 2017 Toyota Highlander, we're gonna be doing a test fit of the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains. Part number PW2029C. And that's tire size 24555R19. These Glacier Cable Snow Tire chains feature a ladder pattern, so they're gonna be very effective during starts and stops. They also feature spring rollers on the cross cables so they're gonna provide us with adequate traction on light snow and ice, and since they use spring rollers, it's gonna also provide us with a smoother ride, compared to chains that have links. They're SAE Class S chains, and they're designed for vehicles with limited wheel well clearance. They meet Department of Transportation requirements in all states, they have a maximum speed rating of 30 miles per hour, and they come in a quantity of two. Now I'll go ahead and show you how easy they are to install. To start off, we're gonna be putting tire chains on the front tires of our Highlander. more
